Theremin or aetherphone / etherophone is an instrument that has been used in music since the thirties, and there have been hundreds of versions over the years, from simple models with integrated contoled and speaker, to those with variable modulation like the ones designed by
Bob Moog.
Now we have the option to have a themerin in our computer thanks to
RolloSONIC, but now instead of using it with our hands we will do it with the movement of our mouse. We will have at our dispossal all kinds of
oscillators,
processors (for the entrance and exit of audio),
effects and oscilloscope (to control the output volume).
The program can be very complex to control if you have never worked with
modular synthesizers, but once you get used to how the signal flow works, you will be capable of creating a controllable vocoder with the micros signal and your mouse in a matter of minutes.
If you want a
free modular synthesizer,
download RolloSONIC now.
